What information do we collect?

Book Bazaar Reader for Windows 8 does not collect, store, or share any of your personal information. We also do not collect any data, information, trends, or track user movements. Though as all other users of Microsoft Windows Store you can submit the error reports via email. By sending the error report, you consent to our privacy policy.

The information includes:

Error stacktrace containing the basic information about the crash (Software name, version and resource usage parameters).
You may be asked to enter your e-mail address and short problem description.

What do we use your error reporting information for?

We only collect error information from you which may be used:

To improve the Software (we continually strive to improve the nextgen reader app based on the information and feedback we receive from you).

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not store, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties any information.

Using OneDrive

After you give your consent to the app for accessing OneDrive (in 'connect to cloud' command) we will create a single folder "BookBazaarLibrary" in the root of your OneDrive. All subsecuent access to your OneDrive data will be done strictly within this single folder. We will never read or touch any of your data outside this BookBazaarLibrary folder.

How we use Internet access?

The app allows you to download books from the Internet using their URLs. It can also request feeds from open publication catalogs (OPDS) - when you use our Catalog View.

When you connect to these services, the app will transmit some information over the internet such as your IP address. This information could be used to identify you. To understand the implications of your IP address being used for internet access, please refer to the Wikipedia article on 'internet privacy'.

Refrelent Software Lab has no control over the way that your personal information might subsequently be used by the providers of a book catalog or a web site containing the source book package. If concerned you should refer to the provider's privacy policy.

Advertisements In The App

Additionally, as part of free application behavior, it will be communicating with Microsoft Publishing Center for receiving advertisements. Please refer to Microsoft privacy policy in regard of this (https://pubcenter.microsoft.com/CustomerManagement/Customer/TC.html).
